Dear members,
Following the success of our Summer proverbs competition, we are running an Autumn quotations competition to find the wittiest remark or the wisest words spoken throughout history.
Post your favourite quotation on the iPass blog, which could be literary, historical, or contemporary and we will judge the winning entry after the closing date on 30th November.
As an English literature student, my favourite quotes are unsurprisingly both literary ones. The first by the famous C20th English novelist, George Orwell and the second by the C19th English writer, Oscar Wilde.
“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”. (Orwell, Animal Farm)
“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars”. (Wilde, Lady Windermere’s Fan)
So, here is your chance to share with us your favourite quotes and win €50! Two runners-up will also receive a copy of the Oxford Concise Dictionary of Quotations and an iPass Key membership.
The blog page you need is:

Looking forward to reading your quotes! (Please remember to include an English translation if your quote is in another language).
Best of luck,
Jenny and the iPass Team
