(Task 1 - title smoking)
The chart illustrate the percentage of men and women in different age groups that drink more that the recommended in a week in 2004. The first evidence is that men in general drink more than women in the same age group. The biggest figures are that men aged at 16 to 24 and 25 to 44 remain in same data of 50%. Whereas the women in the same group ages had an decrease of 10%.
After the aged 25-44 men and women trend to decrease between 10% and 15% in the following ages groups.
The graph provide information about the consumption of alcohol in units in the previous week, for English children aged 11-15 between 1990 and 2004.
Boys had higher figures than girls in the overall data. In 1994 shows an dramatic increase in consumption of alcohol in both sexes. After 1994 both trend to increase each year, however the boys had an steady trend 1998, meanwhile the girls keep gradually upward till 2004.
In summary, men and boys drink more than women and girls. The top age to drink more is between 25 and 44. In fact, children start drinking early and trend to increase each year. Surprisingly the girls are reaching the level alcohol consumption of boys.
