This month I tried IETLS again, and again I got a 5.5 in Speaking. That’s so frustrating…
I have time, material and determination to practise but I have not found an efficient way to improve Speaking.
What I did before is: enlarge vocabulary, listen to English talking or speech and recite some short passages. Now I’m not sure that’s enough.

Is there any advice to help me ?

Hi Bob,
Sorry to hear about your IELTS frustration.
You’ve got some good ideas, but you could also try going to our speaking modules. There are some examples of IELTS interviews with some useful exercises to help you focus on some different areas to help you improve and think about the best way to approach your interview.
You could also try doing some practice tests with a native English speaker and maybe record them and listen to them afterwards.
Let us know how you get on, and keep trying!
Nigel
