Hello everybody!! My name is Susana and I’m from Portugal. I was born in Lisbon, which is the capital city of Portugal. It´s a very nice city with sunny days and a lot of historic monuments and architecture since the 13th century till now. I lived in this lovely town nearby the river Tejo for the last 10 years. Now I’m living in London since seven months ago. This is a cosmopolitan and cultural city full of events and exhibitions all the time. I’ve applied for a master degree this year in Public Health in Developing Countries. Meanwhile I’m working as a nurse in a paediatric ward in a Public Hospital in London. My job is very grateful, I take care of sick children with congenital cardiac defects that need cardiac surgery to recover. My native language is Portuguese. But I speak also Spanish, English and little of French! I enjoy sports and usually I go swimming every week! I’ve also another hobbies, like go to cinema, visit new places, meet up with friends… I love travelling! The most beautiful city I’ve ever visit is the city of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil! I also loved to be in Angola, it´s an amazing country with very friendly people. I hope to take again the IELTS exam in the end of April. It will be the second time I take it. I’ll take it in London because I want to study there. My main reason for taking the IELTS is to provide the English requirement for the university. I’ll need to achieve a seven score as minimum to be able to start the master degree this September. In 5 years time, I hope to be working in a health development project in a developing country with an International NGO. |
