My name is Bïa and I’m from Algeria, a country in North Africa. Algeria is known to many by its touristic sites; it has splendid desert views where many tourists come each year to visit. Also, we have our own traditions regarding how to celebrate feasts, weddings and so on. I live in Ghardaia a city in south Algeria and I’ve been living here for all of my life.
I’m a forth year university student, I’m studying Islamic studies. I also work as a part time teacher. I teach Arabic language in an institution which offers help to pupils who need to improve their school level.  My native language is Arabic; I also speak French and English.
Talking about hobbies, I do love sports especially long walks in green areas. I like photography as my main hobby. It always has been true to me that a picture is worth thousand words. I love travelling too; it gives us close opportunity to discover people and places. So far, I’ve been in Tunisia which is really a wonderful place to visit.
The IELTS test is important for me because I’m so interested in improving my English level. Therefore I’m planning to sit for the exam next Jun and it will be my first time ever. I’m taking it in Algiers; in a Centre for languages which works in coordination with Cambridge University.  I want to take the IELTS test in order to be able to enrol in a new course which is Interpretation.
In 5 years time I hope to be a successful Interpreter and author.
